A MORNING PATH TO MY DIVINE SANCTUARY WITHIN And Awakening To A New Day Of Grace and Blessings I emerge from the sleep of dreams, Which mostly are forgotten when I rise, Like the early morning mist which Disappears when the sun rises. I stumble into the shower and Immerse this body in the gentle rain Of water as hot as I can stand it— And open myself to be comforted by its flow. The hot water awakens a growing grateful Sweetness in my mind for this blessing. The shower head is detachable, on a long Silver hose, so I can pull it out and Direct the hot stream of liquid delight To every part of this aging body… Gradually, the water gets cooler and colder As the small water heater is emptied But I enjoy the changing temperature until I finish with freezing water on my head, my Chest and back— enjoying the shock and my Own choice to embrace its clarifying coldness. It is a beautiful path to begin each day, For when I step out of the water, I am fully awake, with all my senses tingling In anticipation of all the good coming my way. Then I pour a cup of fresh espresso and Take my seat in my own sacred sanctuary for A timeless time of deep meditation and prayer— Listening to the “still small voice within.” March 17, 2021 Still Mountain Retreat

A BEAUTIFUL AND UPLIFTING SONG TO JUMP START YOUR DAY!
“Om Nama Shivaiya” is one of the most powerful and widely used mantras in the world that has been passed down to us over the past 5,000 years.
This kirtan by the Amma Center of New Mexico is a stirring and intense version in which the mantra is repeated over and over with heart melting devotion to an uplifting music track.
The meaning of this splendid mantra is “O Lord of my Heart, please bless me with Supreme Consciousness”
