Compassionate Heart Opening at The Grocery Store “Be Kind…everyone is fighting a hard battle you Know nothing about.” Plato In line at the grocery store, Among a sea of people Wearing masks and social distancing Six feet apart I suddenly return To just this moment, As my heart opens to see All the fear and weight Each person here is carrying So courageously in these Changing and turbulent times— And as tears flow, I give thanks for the Compassionate love Flooding my soul, Reminding me to Not look away, But to pray for Each and everyone Of us living in this world Of pain and suffering. Letting Go of All That Is Not Love
As our days flow together,
This ancient love between us,
Which has been slowly growing
Across many lifetimes before this one,
Steadily keeps on maturing as we
Become more and more aware of
All that is not love,
All that causes us to quarrel,
All the wounds of the heart
We have endured from birth
Until this present moment,
So easily triggered by circumstances
Causing painful conflict,
And as this awareness grows,
Our attitude has changed from
Being ruled by our hurts to
Learning how to heal them,
From being prisoners of our suffering,
To becoming partners on the path
To freedom and greater love.
We have been brought back together
In this lifetime to do this work
Of healing, purification and release,
Which is the most difficult to achieve,
But is now slowly being done
In this space of growing love,
Caring and harmonious alignment.

No Matter What
“No matter what troubles have befallen you,
Or what difficulties you have caused yourself or others…
When you choose to develop love for yourself,
You can learn to forgive yourself…
You can change, grow, make amends, and blossom.
Real love does not encourage you
To ignore your problems or deny
Your mistakes and imperfections…
You see them clearly, taking responsibility
For the while still opting to love yourself.”
