THE FIRST HOUR AFTER YOU WAKE UP IS A PRECIOUS OPPORTUNITY
Your life will improve dramatically when you start using the first hour of your morning to open your heart, elevate your mind and start the day with a powerful positive attitude.
How you start your day will determine what kind of day you will have.
The first hour after you get up is absolutely golden because your mind is fresh, your body is rested and there is a wide-open opportunity to determine your attitude…which always determines how you feel, how you think, how you view yourself and how you relate to others.
To use this golden hour to full advantage, stay by yourself in your own “special space” which you have set aside for prayer and meditation without speaking in a state of solitude.
I have been actively working with how to have amazing miraculous mornings which lead to even more amazing and miraculous days for many years…
and this morning routine has been so good for me that it has become one of the most important times of each new day that I love dearly.

8 SUREFIRE WAYS TO USE YOUR “GOLDEN HOUR” TO CREATE AN AWESOME AND MIRACULOUS DAY
Here are eight sure fire ways to start your day in the best possible way:
RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO IMMEDIATELY GO TO YOUR PHONE or device with a screen Whatever you put your eyes on and give your attention to first thing in the morning will have a dramatic affect on your consciousness and your day. “Energy flows wherever your attention goes is a cosmic law” and it is much better to not give your attention to social media or the outside world first. Make it a rule and a new habit to NOT check your phone, social media, email…don’t make or take calls or watch TV.
STAY IN SOLITUDE WITHOUT TALKING OR CONNECTING WITH ANYONE. Take this time for getting in touch with your own self. Use this hour to focus on being with yourself in a loving and caring way… as a precious gift to your own self!
MEDITATE and GO TO PRAYER FOR AT LEAST FIVE MINUTES
Then, in the silence afterward, focus your mind on praying through about the key areas of your life you need help with. When you first get up from sleeping through the night, your mind will be fresh, open and energized. It is very important to use that precious state by going within in meditation focused on directing that fresh mind to achieve a peaceful, calm and penetrating state…so that you can raise your awareness and lift your consciousness which will shift your entire perspective and experience of the rest of the day. This will put you in touch with your own inner world so that you can proceed with clarity, calmness and confidence.
FOCUS ON PRACTICING GRATITUDE by taking ten minutes to look into your life for at least 10 things you appreciate and are grateful for and then write about them in your Gratitude Journal.
It really is true: “The more I express appreciation and gratefulness for the grace and blessings in my life, the more grace and blessings flow into my life to be grateful for.”
It is an immutable cosmic law that the attitude of gratitude creates an open and loving space in your being that attracts good and positive things, people and situations into your life.
CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE TO BECOME FULLY PRESENT IN THIS VERY MOMENT…by simply sitting still and consciously become aware of the sounds, smells and sights all around you…and the thoughts and feelings you are having…simply watch your body breathing and focus on being here NOW in this moment, then the next moment, staying present in the now.
Few people are living in the present moment. When you do meditation regularly and become more and more self aware, you will see clearly that most of the time our mind’s attention is stuck in either reviewing the past or anxiously focusing on the future.
But here is the truth…only the present moment is real. You can only love others, commune with God or anything else important in this very moment.
What I have learned from life long personal experience is that not being present is a key source of stress and suffering…and the beautiful thing is that bringing yourself into coherence by being present is a calm, peaceful and safe space of refuge that we all desperately need.
TAKE THE TIME TO TUNE INTO YOUR OWN DIVINE INNER GUIDANCE….After praying and meditating and coming into this very present moment…gently put your attention on your heart center and listen for the “still small voice within”, which is the sweet, gentle voice of your inner guidance…which has the answers to every question and all challenges and problems in your life and relationships…
This inner guidance is real and is speaking to you in your own heart 24/7…always has and always will…”be still and know that I AM God”. Your inner guidance is the divine’s way of leading, quiding and teaching you that always tells you the truth and the things you need to hear NOW.
The inner guidance never makes mistakes, and when you are able to hear it accurately (which takes practice over time), you feel loved, calm and inspired. Inner guidance is everyone’s birthright, but most of us don’t know about it or rarely tap into it.
You can call it ‘intuition”, “hunches” or “gut feeling”. But whatever you call it, hearing your inner guidance is something you and all of us very much need.
READ SOMETHING THAT INSPIRES and UPLIFTS YOU for a few minutes. I personally have one or more great books or articles that I have selected and keep close to me so that I can feed my mind high vibrational content and ideas that I know will really make a difference in some way.
I get great inspiration from studying the lives and teaching of the great realized people of the past. For example, I read a few pages of Yogananda’s “Autobiography of a Yogi” or “The Biography of Milarepa” or any other book that stirs my soul and uplifts my consciousness and increase my understanding of the spiritual path.
I always have several books close by that I am studying that are always helping me rise and develop myself. My time is precious so I do not waste it on consuming things for entertainment or off purpose focuses…and I get SO MUCH from these higher level books.
EVERY MORNING, CONSCIOUSLY SET THE TOTAL INTENTION WITHIN YOURSELF TO HAVE AN AMAZINGLY GOOD and PRODUCTIVE DAY FREE FROM ALL NEGATIVE SELF TALK
Set the total intention within yourself to have an very good day in which you are loving, patient, accepting of yourself and others, while maintaining mindfulness and staying in the present moment….
And consciously choose to replace negative self talk with positive affirmations…focused on loving, appreciating and believing in YOURSELF and the OTHER PEOPLE in your life.
My friends, if you will take time out to use the “golden morning hour” as I am suggesting… you will see such amazing immediate benefits that you will love this practice and do it every morning…and as you do it will just keep on getting better and better and more magical!
