I CHOOSE THE WAY OF LOVE AND LIGHT I do not want to be trapped in pain And disempowered by my own mind— I do not want to be resistant to all The goodness and love which Is flowing into my life now, like Rain falling on a hot and thirsty desert Or allow myself to sink into the despair And darkness stalking me like hungry wolves. I know all my suffering is a gift Wrapped in hurtful strings and that In order not to be torn by those sharp fangs I must choose and choose again To rise above all the darkness And make my time a shining space Of loving, positive and well directed Energy emanating from my heart’s core… And if I am able to do this as I must, Then I open the door to doing good, Being good, demonstrating good— In inspiration, revelation and exaltation… Because the truth is—consciousness flows In the directions and channels I choose For myself in alignment with the Divine— And I choose life, I choose light And I choose eternal unconditional Love.
