LIFE IS A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO THE HEART OF LOVE

It is so important to remember—
That our time here is limited,
And that the day will inevitably
Come when we must leave our
Bodies, our beloveds and everything
We cherish in this world behind.

Until that hour, if we are wise,
We will consciously use every moment
Of our journey through life
To constantly expand our ability to 
Love and truly serve others—
Doing whatever we can to
Help alleviate suffering in this
Painful, yet wonderful world.

We were not sent here just to 
Chase after our desires and pleasures,
Or to accumulate wealth or material things—
We were born to serve a higher purpose,
Far beyond our own self centered concerns,
On a divine mission of making a difference
And serving the good of all living beings.

We came here with nothing 
And will leave with nothing,
For, in truth, we are eternal spirits
Temporarily inhabiting these human 
Bodies for a time until we are
Called onwards on our soul’s great 
Spiritual journey through the universe.
