“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.”
—Thoreau
There is magic and power in the New Year and new beginnings.
To use this time to create your new life,
Be like a surfer on the ocean’s edge,
Poised and ready to catch the
Perfect wave when it comes and ride it
All the way to where you
Want and need to be.
Every new day is a fresh opportunity
For a new start,
A new chapter in your life
Waiting and ready to be written,
For you alone are the author of
Your life’s story.
What the New Year brings to you will depend
A great deal on what you bring to the New Year.
—Vernon McLellan
It is your choice how you are going to enter this New Year.
You could enter it with negativity and fear
And bring all the regrets, disappointments and painful experiences
Of the past forward in a way that weakens you for the future
And continues in the same old familiar vein of suffering…
Or we can look at our past and say to ourself:
“The past is over and gone and I choose to let it go.
I know what has already happened does not have to define me
Or dictate how my future will be.
I now choose and intend and will do everything in my power
To make the better future of my dreams.”
I live the dreams of the future
Better than the history of the past.
—-Thomas Jefferson
The future belongs to those who believe
In the beauty of their dreams.

If you are ready to make your life shine and
Create a new life that is so full of good things and loving potential
That you wake up every morning excited, happy, peaceful and confident,
Then you need to consciously develop a true Love relationship with yourself.
At least once or many times each day,
Look into your own eyes and your beautiful face in the mirror,
And affirm to yourself over and over:
“I now love and accept myself exactly as I am!”
If you do this affirmation while looking directly into your own eyes for at least a minute, several times a day, every day, you will gradually dissolve the built up negative self images, old pains and limiting beliefs that have kept your heart closed and blocked you having any real love and appreciation for yourself.
Others can only love you to the degree you are able to love yourself.
Training yourself to love and appreciate your self is the best thing you can ever do for all those who love and care for you.
This affirmation is a powerful tool for opening your own heart to the great love that you have within you that is just waiting, wanting and needing to be expressed.
All the good things you want are waiting on the other side of learning how to truly appreciate, respect and care for yourself.
I have been doing this simple “mirror exercise” and affirmation for many, many years and it has completely transformed my life in miraculous ways as I have healed and been uplifted by the power of pure love…even to this very day.

Write it on your heart that every day
Is the best day of the year.
—-Ralph Waldo Emerson
This is the day the Lord has made—
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
—Psalm 118:24
Say to yourself…
“I am not going to let
My past determine who I am
Or prevent me from stepping up and stepping out
To claim my new life.
I will wake up on the morning of January 1st
And look at this New Year as a wide open space
Ready made for me to not just survive,
But to thrive…
To not just live getting by but to fully
Rise and soar, rising up to my full abilities, far
Beyond the limiting things that have kept me down,
Filled with bright enthusiasm
For the outrageous possibilities and potential
To fulfill the goals and dreams
I have set for myself.
The past is gone,
And the future is yet to be,
But here I AM now, ready, able, willing and wanting
To create the new life I deserve
And become the new me
I want to be!”
“You are never too old
To set a new goal
Or dream a new dream”
C.S. Lewis
