BENJAMIN FRANKLIN WAS A MAN OF MANY TALENTS and ACHIEVMENTS
Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) had an extraordinary life who was a prolific writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, diplomat, printer, publisher and political philosopher.
He was one of the most influential of the Founding Fathers of the U.S.…he is the only one who signed all four of the key documents establishing the U.S.—
The Declaration of Independence (1776)
The Treaty of Alliance with France (1778)
The Treaty of Paris, establishing peace with Great Britain (1783)
And the U.S. Constitution (1787)

This is all the more amazing considering that his formal education was limited and ended when he was 10 years old. But he loved to read and read widely to educate himself and taught himself to be a great writer.
His life story is one of a “self-made” man who overcame great obstacles from childhood onwards and turned all the adversity to greater good…and kept on making great achievements throughout his long life.
He was well known for his quick wit and repartee in conversation and politics which made him highly respected by all who knew him.
This collection of little known one liners and short sayings are gleaned from his writings, letters and publications are even more relevant today in their timeless wisdom.
