MY ONLY TRUE and LASTING HAPPINESS—
Living In The Presence of The Beloved Within
When I am quiet and still enough,
I can hear the Beloved whispering
Softly, yet firmly, within me with a
Gentle voice of pure unconditional Love…
And I can hear the celestial tones
Which accompany the divine presence
Being sung all around me in celebration
Of this highest state of consciousness…
And I can feel the blissful joy of
My own rising spirit joining itself with
It’s Source—The lover and the
Beloved becoming one again…
All my life, it is this quiet solitude
And this sacred sanctuary of ever loving
Divine communion that I have sought,
That my heart has always yearned for—
No one or no alluring thing outside of
My self can ever satisfy this longing—
It is only for the Beloved within that my soul
Hungers to have eternal divine relationship—
Even if it takes millennia,
Even if I wear out body after body
In the searching, I know that this
Inner journey through time and space
To living daily life in the presence of my
Sweet Lord is my purpose, my goal,
My destiny, my meaning and my
Only true and lasting happiness.
