Easter is a profoundly powerful opportunity to reflect, meditate and pray about dying to your ego and going through the Resurrection of your Higher Self

Dear Friends,

Tonight, as I have been working on this issue of “The Dawning Light” through the hours until it is now Easter Sunday, I have been moved to tears as I have been praying about what I want to share with you today.

The Real Purpose Of Life Is Spiritual Training and Transformation Through Pure LOVE

I have shared in this newsletter in earlier stories that I had a major and unexpected spiritual awakening when I was 14 which completely shifted the focus of my life and set me on the spiritual path. 

I have been following this path for the past 60 years as I have been led by the Divine through each stage of training and transformation.

I can clearly see now that this seeking for my teachers, then studying with them and doing spiritual practices under their guidance is the real purpose and meaning of my life. 

From the moment of my first awakening at 14 years old until this present day, I have been led along my dharmic path directly by the unseen hand of God through my inner guidance and sometimes direct influence. 

I now understand this fact and that the Divine is doing the same for everyone to the degree that each of us recognizes this and chooses to align with God’s will.

Along the way, I am aware that the Divine has helped me “behind the scenes” in subtle ways but also sometimes in very dramatic interventions, which were all turning points in my life and major breakthroughs on my spiritual path.

My Darshan with Jesus

As I have been praying through tonight about Easter, I suddenly relived in intense detail one of the most dramatic of these experiences…

In 1966, during a very challenging and tumultuous time, I was blessed with a few minutes of having “darshan” with Jesus in the flesh…

One night while I was alone and praying for help in an empty Church, the statue of Jesus on the cross over the altar was suddenly suffused with brilliant light, came alive and floated down to the floor.  

In the blink of an eye, the living Jesus came over to me as I stood up in awe and amazement.

He was amazingly, beautifully radiant and I knew I was in the presence of Jesus as he spoke to me so gently in mind to mind transmission, saying with tremendous Love—“All is well and all will be well with you…I AM watching over you, I AM taking care of you, I AM ever here for you…”

Then Jesus embraced me in the most loving hug of my life for a timeless time as He whispered in my ear…” All will be well with you as you love and follow us, my child…”

I felt his arms around me as he gazed at me in total love and slowly dissolved into a field of shimmering white light.

I bowed my head, speechless with grateful tears flowing down my cheeks, as I tried to take in what had just happened.

When I finally was able to look up again, I saw through a veil of tears that his statue was back in its place on the cross.

Though I did not really understand what had happened at the time, I knew I had just received a major blessing on my life which has been a source of strength and encouragement for me ever since.

The More We Focus On Prayer And Meditation, The More We Develop Our Close And Loving Relationship With The Divine And Become Free Of The Ego Mind

In deep prayer I have seen that I have been a serious and sincere spiritual aspirant for many lifetimes, and that at a soul level, I am always invoking the presence of God and seeking to follow the Divine’s sweet will.

Tonight, I have realized in a much clearer way a fundamental and universal truth which is that…

The true purpose of all authentic spiritual paths that are effective ways to attain Enlightenment and freedom from suffering… are all focused on bringing about the “death” of our ego mind and the resurrection of our true Self as an eternal spirit who is ever one with God in an unconditional Love relationship.

Easter Is A Profoundly Powerful Opportunity For The Ressurection Of Your True Self

As I have prayed through tonight, I realized that Easter is a special and sacred day for us to reflect on the story of Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection, which I know in my heart actually happened.

Tonight, because I have been praying through all night, I have been moved to tears as I have come to much deeper and clearer understanding about the true meaning of Easter…

Tonight, I have been realizing to a far deeper level how much God loves and cares for each and every one of us, with absolutely pure unconditional Love that is and will always flowing to us as grace and blessings.

EH MA HO!

I have realized that our first and most frequent prayer should always be…”Thank You Lord for all that you do for me! Thank You Lord for all your blessings! Thank You Lord for always being here for me! Thank You Lord for loving me unconditionally!”

The Real Meaning of Easter

And the real meaning of Easter is that…

…even if we are unaware of it

…even if we are not consciously engaged in pursuing our dharmic spiritual path yet

…we have been born into this world so that we can gradually learn how to Love step by step…

…because only Love can dissolve the ego’s delusive hold on us that is the source of all of our suffering and feeling separated from each other and God

…and the more our Love grows, the more the ego dissolves and dies

…until we rise up from the ego’s grave and have the Resurrection of awakening to being our true Higher Self in eternal relationship with the Divine!
