When I Forget To Sing When, under life’s stress and strain, I forget to to sing and pray, I begin to lose my way, By night and by day. It is not nearly enough Just to coast through life, Even when we are being very good, For we were born to rise and serve, To become aware and wise, Conscious and compassionate, To ever reach for pure Love, And the star of enlightenment. When I forget to sing My world grows dark by degrees, Until my mind and heart Become so painful and tight That my own suffering reminds me This is not the way life is meant to be… And I reawaken to the inner calling To rise, expand, love and serve— Then when I sing the Names, Mantras and invocations and meditate, I am released from pain and soar up again And find that the divine is here within, Immanent in every moment, always Loving me unconditionally just as I am Always here for me in graceful Blessing, eternal and ever sweet. Unrelenting Joy Today I lay down my hurt And release all of my pain As I return to a state of loving Wholeness with and within myself again. In this moment, I take responsibility for being the Source of all of my experience and Bring my own mind fully under control. The sun is shining on a perfect day, After so many dark days of storm, As I am learning to choose to focus only On my good and let all darkness go. It has taken me all these long years To realize this fundamental truth— The purpose of my life has always been to Learn to Love and rise up shining On my own spirit wings. No matter what may come or what may go, I know in my heart and soul that The One who sent me here now intends That I live in ever increasing awareness, Love and unrelenting joy. February 2018

If we all choose to
Take care of each other
And all living beings
And this beautiful planet Earth”
