TWO HEARTS JOINING AS ONE
TO SAIL THE OCEAN OF LOVE

Finally, after all these years
Together in adversarial relationship,
We have arrived at the shores of
The vast and infinite sea of love…

Which extends throughout the universe,
As we have come to the deep opening
Of our hearts and all of the love that has
Always been inside us is being released.

Every trace of our years of conflict,
Pain, fear and strife is now disappearing
Under the gentle lapping waves of
This insistent and growing pure love—

We know it is the unseen influence of
The Divine that has brought us to
This space of now sharing a love which
Is melting away everything unlike itself.

I am astonished and grateful that
After all those painful years of fighting,
Our ship is now under steady sail across
This sea of loving contentment and grace.

I cannot know how far we will go
Or what our future together may hold,
Yet I trust that it will be for our highest good
As we live day by day in the healing light

Of this greater Love we are now sharing in
Joyous states of two hearts joining as one.
