WE ARE NOW CREATING OUR NEW LIFE THROUGH COURAGEOUS FAITH and ABSOLUTE DETERMINATION

I believe it is never too late to focus 100% on doing the work you love and were born to do!

This story is about the years long process we went through on the way to my realizing a very important fact….

It is time answer the calling on my heart and the advice of my own inner guidance and to focus the rest of my life on doing only the most important things that are in alignment with fulfilling my “mission from God.”

I am grateful that the Divine has closed off every way forward except for the one true path leading to fulfilling my destiny and highest good.

Before this clarity, I was stubbornly trying to push against closed doors that led nowhere.

Though I have been trying to do so many other things over the past two years to add to our meager livelihood, they have all led to dead-ends.

I now understand that this is because those efforts were no longer in alignment with my life’s higher purpose.

They were actually tangents that took me off our true purpose line as each of them demanded I invest precious time and energy away from my real work.

It has become crystal clear to me now, through prayer and meditation, that because of my becoming an elder, there is no time left to delay or dally in doing the real work that I was sent here and born to do.

I am getting clear and constant inner calling to focus solely on working on developing publications, films and meditation trainings…and nothing else...and trust that our needs will be met.

I TRIED TO ADD TO OUR MEAGER INCOME BY GOING BACK TO DOING DUMPS RUNS and JUNK REMOVAL

Because we live in this small rural Dharma Center and cover the operating expenses of Still Mountain on a very tiny budget…over the past two years I have tried to supplement our meager income by different ways that seemed perfectly reasonable…

First, I put up postings offering to do just a few selected Clean Up and Junk Removal projects.

I thought it would be easy to get work since we still had a little dump truck, tools and vast experience from doing this work as our our main livelihood work for years…

We had convinced ourselves that it was necessary and thought we were willing to sacrifice and endure the negative side effects of dealing with client's chaotic junk and trash as long it helped pay the bills.

But, this time, no matter how much we tried, something would happen, seemingly out of the blue, that caused every possible project to fizzle or get blocked…

Frankly, after we realized it wasn’t going to work, we were relieved at this outcome because going back to sorting, picking up, loading and taking broken junk and nasty trash to the dump would have been extremely hard on us as we have become purified and more vulnerable now since we gave up doing these projects….

INVESTING WEEKS IN BUILDING and PROMOTING OUR THRIFT STORE

After giving up on that idea, I invested most of last summer in building the Still Mountain Thrift Store in our front driveway, complete with shelves and lighting like the best thrift stores I studied….

I spent many bright summer days gathering, cleaning and pricing all kinds of good quality items that I picked up from yard sales or got through donations…with same result of almost no customers after months of effort, postering, ordering and installing special signage…

In the end, after six months of work , we took down the signs and closed the store.

We invested even more days into taking everything out of the store and moving it into our Community Free Yard next door…where it was all taken by folks who needed the items as a gift from us.

AND THEN I INVESTED EVEN MORE TIME, ENERGY and ATTENTION in building a “new” Bundle Making Shop and Fire Wood Stand

Then, more recently, as winter battered our area with intense rain storms and freezing nights, I thought it would be easy for me to make and sell firewood bundles on our original old Firewood Stand, (which we did quite successfully every winter for many years).

I invested weeks in setting up to open the stand…. including moving and rebuilding our old bundle making shop (that had been destroyed by heavy rains last winter) into the now empty thrift store…

months of harvesting and processing wood, designing and printing new labels, going into production… advertising online on platforms that used to bring us droves of customers, putting up posters all over our home area and big beautiful signs proclaiming “FIREWOOD FOR SALE…BUNDLES just $6”….. then having ZERO response…

I AM NOW ANSWERING THE CALLING ON MY HEART TO SERVE WITHOUT TANGENTS or DISTRACTIONS

I have finally gotten the message from the divine…

Which is to drop everything else and dedicate every day and every bit of my precious time, energy and attention that remains to me, for however many years left to this life, to build our publications ministry, which is the major part of my God assigned mission for this incarnation….

This is so important at this late stage, especially after so many years of giving almost everything to doing work just to produce an income…that the Lord is now lierally blocking me from doing anything else.

I am now moving to joyfully answer that call…because the writing, filming, teaching and publishing is so important and has always been meant to be my way of serving the world and the divine….

I have to move up into this new total dedication to working only on publications on courageous faith alone…

Faith in believing this work is my true purpose and that I must not dally or delay any longer…

Faith in believing that by choosing to do only what I believe is God’s will, that all of our needs will be met on every level…from the practical and financial all the way up to the highest spiritual…

Faith in believing in this work and that its real purpose is and always will be providing very real inspiration, encouragement and help to those who need it….

Faith in myself and that my entire life has been preparing me in every way to now do this work for the highest good of everyone…

Faith that this time, this day and all the days ahead is the right time and season for it to flourish, grow and become all that the Divine wills for it to be…

Faith that, just by now becoming totally and consciously dedicated that everything we need to be successful and fulfill our purpose will be provided at the right time and in the best way….
