I cried when I was editing this poem from the original 1985 workbook it was written in.
Robert Frost said about writing that evokes deep feelings…”No tears in the writer…No tears in the reader…Tears in the composing, then tears in the reading. To feel is to make it real.”
And “Every poem is a momentary stay against the con fusion of the world…”
