Whatever wisdom I may have, whatever good heart and real Love I aspire to share, whatever strength I now have to endure and persevere and not give up comes from many years of facing and over coming unrelenting challenges and overwhelming personal heartbreak and losses.

I have learned that it’s always better to take a stand and face whatever is coming as honestly and prayerfully as possible than try to run away or hope to muddle through or simply let it make me crazy.

My teachers all always stressed that every tough challenge or horrible situation was to be taken on with the attitude that it is extremely valuable if we used it as an opportunity to learn lessons and develop our own inner powers and turn to our spiritual practices and prayer with much greater motivation to overcome it. They stressed that tough times brought out our greatness and helped develop our ability to tap our own inner resources such as patience, faith and personal power!
