you are in the perfect situation for spiritual practice!!!
The setting of this poem is a busy, stinky, dirty landfill and yet as I was chanting the “Mani” and consciously working to shift my attitude to gratitude…then “the beauty of even the most mundane things” as revealed.
My teachers chanted one complete “Mani” with every step. If they lost concentration, they would back up one step and start over.
The real power of the “Mani”comes out the more you chant or sing or think it. It is the doorway to the ineffable bliss of higher consciousness.
I have never before seen a full rainbow! Wow. The sun feels nice today as I do my walking meditation in the mundane job as security at a landfill.lol
